Are libraries still supposed to be quiet places?

Took my girls to the library today. They were being good for the first 20 minutes, but then Laney, the youngest had just had enough of the whole “Sshhhhh it’s a library” thing. She screamed the place down. Luckily mine wasn’t the only one acting up, another mothers children who were about 10 and 12 [...]

And so it starts….

Today I went to clean the toilet. This is not exciting, or in any way interesting. But Laney, my 3 year old had obviously decided that the cleaning needed to be done yesterday, and had cleaned the toilet whilst there was still, well, um, poo in it. So my toilet brush is no longer used [...]
